The Situation
Cundalls, One Carter Lane is a multidisciplinary consultancy providing sustainable design solutions for the build environment. Because they wanted to provide the team with space for research, testing and development, the focus was on lighting, acoustics, health and sustainability. The project was on the 6th floor at Carter Lane which caused an added complication to the project. Each large pane of glass had to be carried up 6 flights of stairs in order for it to be installed.
The end results as pictured, was a very sophisticated and sleek look which worked well and achieved the company’s objectives for their workplace landscape.

We Made It Happen
Our Solution
i Wall installed their market-leading i Wall 60 product range, consisting of: Single framed glazing with acoustic laminated glass, which achieves up to 40Rw dB. i Wall 60 single aluminium door frame and aluminium framed door, standard hinges, lever lock set and drop seal. The frames were all sprayed in a grey matt to match the solid wood panels.
The Benefits
The completion of Cundalls not only achieved the companies’ project objectives, it was also one of the first projects in Europe to receive the WELL Building Standard accreditation. WELL CertifiedTM the world’s first building standard that focuses exclusively on human health and wellness.
